Am vergangenen Samstagabend ist es in Bad Dürkheim zu einem schweren Verkehrsunfall gekommen. Wie die Polizei der Stadt mitteilt, befuhr ein 24-Jähriger die Altenbacher Straße in Richtung Ungstein. Kurz vor dem Ortseingang Ungstein kam der Fahrzeugführer aus bislang unbekanntem Grund nach rechts von der Fahrbahn ab und prallte dann gegen eine Grundstücksmauer. Ein Atemalkoholtest ergab bei dem jungen Fahrer einen Wert von 1,81 Promille. Die Gesamtschadenshöhe schätzt die Polizei auf ca. 100.000 EUR.
