Brennendes Auto zwischen Lingenfeld und Westheim. Der Polizei Germersheim zufolge stand gestern Mittag ein Auto in Flammen. Ein 53-jähriger Mann war laut Polizei mit seinem Auto von Westheim in Richtung Lingenfeld unterwegs. In der Kirchstraße habe das Auto plötzlich zu qualmen angefangen. Nachdem der Fahrer ausgestiegen war, begann das Auto zu brennen. Verletzt wurde niemand. Die Polizei vermutet einen technischen Defekt als Brandursache.
