In Neustadt setzt die Feuerwehr zusätzlich auf die Hilfe von Hobby-Fliegern. Segelflieger vom Flugsportverein Neustadt können so bei der Früherkennung möglicherweise wichtige Hilfe leisten. Dazu aus Neustadt, der 1. Vorsitzende des Vereins, Reimer Möller:
