Essbare Stadt Kandel: Seit Mai sind im Stadtkern an drei Beeten Obst, Gemüse und Kräuter für Bürgerinnen und Bürger frei verfügbar. Jetzt haben sich weitere Paten bereit erklärt, vier weitere Hochbeete zu installieren und zu betreuen, meldet das Citymanagement. Im Frühjahr des nächsten Jahres soll es dann weitere Hochbeete in der Kandler Innenstadt geben. Im Zuge des Projekts sollen dann am Bahnhof auch Himbeer- und Johannisbeersträucher gepflanzt werden.
