373 Kilogramm Weinkorken. Diese Menge ist nach Angaben des Entsorgungs- und Wirtschaftsbetriebs Landau, kurz EWL, am eigenen Wertstoffhof zusammengekommen. Das entspreche laut Paul Hauk vom EWL etwa einer Anzahl von mehr als 1000 Flaschenverschlüssen. Hintergrund der Sammlung ist die „KORKampagne“ des Deutschen Naturschutzbunds, im Zuge derer der Rohstoff recycelt wird.
