Brand am Bahndamm. In Neustadt-Schöntal hat gestern Abend der Bahndamm gebrannt. Das meldet die Feuerwehr. Zwischen dem Speyerbach und der B39 konnte der berennende Bahndamm dann mithilfe von Wasserwerfern zügig gelöscht werden. Während der Löscharbeiten war die B39 für eine Stunde halbseitig gesperrt. Ein sogenannter „Heißläufer“ an einem Güterzug war nach ersten Angaben Brandursache.
