Noch mehr Badeseen in der Vorderpfalz. Aktuelle Wasserkontrollen des Helmbachweihers bei Elmstein, des Weidenthaler Weihers und der Almensee bei Bad Dürkheim sollen das Schwimmen in den Seen, so die Kreisverwaltung, künftig ermöglichen. Um gesundheitliche Gefahren für die Besucher auszuschließen, wird die Wasserqualität der Seen in der Sommersaison derzeit untersucht. Dabei werden Wasserproben bis Ende August entnommen und geprüft. Bisher gab es keine Auffälligkeiten.
