Die Landkreise Südliche Weinstraße, Germersheim und die Stadt Landau haben mehr als 100 ehrenamtlichen Ersthelfern für ihren Einsatz gedankt. Durch ihre Nähe zum Notfallort sind diese Helfer oft schneller vor Ort als der Rettungsdienst und können bis zu dessen Eintreffen lebensrettende Maßnahmen durchführen. Um das Netzwerk weiter auszubauen, werden weitere Helfer gesucht. Interessierte können sich auf den Webseiten informieren.
