Landau nimmt dieses Jahr wieder an den bundesweiten „Fairen Wochen“ teil. Darauf macht die Stadt in einer Pressemitteilung aufmerksam und verkündet, dass diese Aktion vom 16. bis zum 20. September stattfindet. Gegenüber der Antenne zeigt sich Stadtbürgermeister Maximilian Ingenthron stolz, dass Landau eine von mehreren Fairtrade-Kommunen in Deutschland ist:
