Die Hochschule in Germersheim habe eine besondere Bedeutung. Mit diesen Worten begrüßte die Integrationsministerin Katharina Binz bei den Feierlichkeiten zum 75-jährigen Bestehen des Campus Germersheim. Bei einer Podiumsdiskussion tauschte sich die Ministerin mit Expertinnen und Experten zum Wert von Mehrsprachigkeit und Translation aus. Aus dem Institut für Translations-, Sprach- und Kulturwissenschaft am Campus Germersheim ging einer der ersten Sprachmittlerpools im Land hervor.
