Kleine Wasserkraftanlagen sollen nach Angaben der Bundesregierung künftig nicht mehr gefördert werden. Dies betrifft auch mehrere kleine Anlagen in Germersheim und der Region. Der südpfälzische CDU Bundestagsabgeordneter Thomas Gebhart fordert die Koalition deshalb jetzt in Berlin auf, ihre Pläne zu korrigieren und die Vergütung für die Betreiber kleiner Wasserkraftanlagen beizubehalten. Gegenüber der ANTENNE sagt er:
