Lachen-Speyerdorf hat die Trauerweide im Kreisverkehr gefällt. Wie bereits bei der ANTENNE berichtet, hatte die Stadt diskutiert, den Baum wegen einer aggressiven Pilzerkrankung zu fällen. Da die Trauerweide jetzt drohte umzustürzen und damit die Verkehrssicherheit zu gefährden, hat die Stadt den Baum kurzfristig am vergangenen Donnerstag gefällt – das berichtet die Lokalzeitung. Ein neuer Baum soll als Ersatz gepflanzt werden.
