Neustadt: Tarifabschluss kostet Stadt Millionen

Die jüngste Tarifeinigung im öffentlichen Dienst schlägt auch bei der Stadtverwaltung Neustadt zu Buche. Laut Personalabteilungsleiterin Sandra Gröschel-Krämer belaufen sich die Mehrkosten in diesem Jahr auf rund 1,3 Millionen Euro. Für 2026 rechnet die Verwaltung mit 3,2 Millionen Euro, 2027 mit gut vier Millionen.

Oberbürgermeister Marc Weigel erklärte, dass im aktuellen Haushalt bereits Rücklagen für die erwartete Erhöhung eingeplant seien. Vereinbart wurden 3 Prozent mehr Gehalt ab April 2025 sowie weitere 2,8 Prozent im Mai 2026.
