Personalmangel in der Lebensmittelkontrolle?

Im letzten Jahr haben alle Lebensmittelkontrolleure im Land Rheinland-Pfalz knapp 18.300 Proben gesammelt. Der Landkreistag beobachtet die Entwicklung der Lebensmittelkontrolle in Rheinland-Pfalz kritisch: Mehr Fachkräfte seien nach eigenen Angaben nötig. Im Landkreis SÜW und der Stadt Landau verzeichne man allerdings keinen Mangel, so Bernd Kieffer, Referatsleiter im Gebiet „Lebensmittelkontrollen“:
