Sicheres Obst und Gemüse im Handel. Dafür sorgt die Landwirtschaftliche Untersuchungs- und Forschungsanstalt – kurz LUFA – in Speyer. Jetzt bekommt die LUFA zwei weitere Gaschromatographen im Gesamtwert von rund einer halben Million Euro, um damit Obst, Gemüse und Böden nach Pestizidrückständen untersuchen zu können. Inzwischen hat die LUFA sieben solcher Geräte, da die Anforderungen in den letzten Jahrzehnten von 25 zu untersuchenden Wirkstoffen auf über 600 angestiegen sind, heißt es in der Pressemitteilung des Bezirksverbands Pfalz.
