Überschwemmungen in Mechtersheim

Wegen des Starkregens am gestrigen Abend ist es in der Verbandsgemeinde Römerberg-Dudenhofen zu Überschwemmungen gekommen. An rund 100 Stellen mussten Einsatzkräfte ausrücken, heißt es im Bericht der Feuerwehr. In den sozialen Netzwerken kritisieren Anwohner jetzt die Kommunalverwaltung, weil sie das Wohnquartier immer noch nicht gegen Wasser aus den Feldern geschützt habe.
