Die Umgestaltung des Neustadter Bahnhofsvorplatzes lässt auf sich warten. Letztes Jahr hatte der Stadtrat bereits die Pläne der Umgestaltung der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt. Barrierefreiheit und weitere Parkplätze sollten im Zuge der Maßnahmen berücksichtigt werden. Warum nicht mehr in diesem Jahr mit den Arbeiten begonnen werden kann, dazu aus Neustadt, Baudezernent Bernhard Adams:
