Der Kardinal-Wetter-Platz in Landau wird trotz Missbrauchsskandals seinen Namen vorerst behalten. Kardinal Wetter wird Untätigkeit vorgeworfen, da er einen Täter im Bistum Speyer lediglich versetzt habe. Das Bistum Speyer hat nun entschlossen, die Umbenennung vom Studienergebnis der Aufarbeitungskommission abhängig zu machen, so Dekan Axel Brecht im ANTENNE-Interview:
